I recently made an app for GTalk that updates your twitter status.Being a Yahoo intern I thought I should make one for Yahoo Messenger too.The prologue is same for both so copy pasting with some editing.
I am always present in those multiple social networking sites which enable me to set a status.It is very difficult to update my status from each of them.So I thought of writing one app that rules ‘em all.So I hereby release GtaStatus with minimal features.It updates your twitter status automatically from your GTalk status. In addition with one more hack, you can even share it on your facebook.

Installation:

Download the YaStatus exe file from above and click it after you have logged into your Yahoo Messenger.It asks you for your twitter “username” and “password” and with that you are done.Enjoy!.

Tip:To update your FaceBook status along with twitter’s, then install the Twitter app to your FaceBook profile and done.With this you can share your Yahoo Messenger status on Twitter and also on FaceBook

As my Buzz plugin for wordpress was apparently a failure , I hope atleast this one works well for improving the visitor count for my blog.

Yahoo! has recently released a new component of it called Buzz! open for public.This is a digg like site and enables you in driving traffic.I have released a quick plugin based on Digg Digg plugin .You can download the plugin here.This is a very quick release.

Installation:

Download the plugin from the above download link and place Buzzer.php into http://<yourdomain.com/wordpressfolder>/wp- content/plugins folder.Go to your plugins page and activate it.As soon as you activate you don’t get the button displayed.You have to go to settings page and select the location of button.
